Individualus patvirtinimas
A used M1, N1, or L-category vehicle imported from outside the EU needs an individualus patvirtinimas (individual approval) before registration with Regitra: a technical expert examination is carried out by an approved technical-expertise company, which issues a technical expertise certificate and evaluation sheet once the vehicle is confirmed compliant.
The process, step by step
- 1Customs declaration
Import duties (customs, VAT) are paid and a customs declaration confirming this is prepared.
- 2Documentation review
The vehicle's foreign registration papers and existing technical data are gathered.
- 3Technical expert examination
An approved technical-expertise company examines the vehicle for individual approval.
- 4Modifications, if flagged
Any non-compliant points are corrected and the vehicle is re-presented.
- 5Certificate and registration
Once approved, a technical expertise certificate and evaluation sheet are issued, and the vehicle is registered with Regitra.
