Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 September 2026
homologatemycar.com is operated by DriveSino, registered in the Netherlands under KVK number 72864761, registered address Europalaan 22, Unit 8512, 3526 KS Utrecht, Netherlands ("we", "us", "HomologateMyCar"). By using this website or requesting a quote through it, you agree to these terms.
What we do
HomologateMyCar arranges individual vehicle homologation (type-approval) for vehicles imported into the EU from outside Europe, connecting your vehicle with the technical service, laboratory, or approval authority your destination country actually requires, and managing the process on your behalf. We're a sister company of DriveSino, which sources and exports vehicles from China; the two services are separate and either can be used without the other.
Getting a quote isn't a contract yet
Submitting the quote form or messaging us on WhatsApp is a request for information, not a binding order. A real engagement (scope, price, and timeline for your specific vehicle) is only agreed once we've reviewed your vehicle's actual documentation and confirmed it with you directly, in writing (WhatsApp or email is fine). Nothing on this site is a fixed price list; costs depend on the vehicle and what it needs, as explained throughout the site.
Accuracy of site content
The country guides, origin guides, cost notes, and blog content on this site are general information to help you understand the process, compiled from official sources we cite on each page. They're not legal advice and aren't a substitute for the vehicle-specific review we do once you engage us: rules, fees, and exemption practices genuinely change over time and can vary by the individual case. We work to keep this content accurate and up to date, but you should treat it as orientation, not a guarantee of your own vehicle's outcome.
What we're not responsible for
- Decisions made by the national technical service, laboratory, or registration authority in your destination country: those are independent bodies, not us, and the final approval decision is always theirs.
- Delays caused by the vehicle's own condition, missing documentation, customs processes, or the authority's own scheduling.
- Costs of modifications a vehicle turns out to need that weren't identifiable from the documentation available before physical inspection.
To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, our liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the fees you actually paid us for that engagement.
Your responsibilities
You're responsible for giving us accurate information about the vehicle and its documentation, and for the vehicle's own legal status (ownership, existing liens, customs clearance) up to the point it's handed to us for the homologation process itself.
Intellectual property
The text, structure, and design of this site belong to us or our licensors. You're welcome to link to it; reproducing substantial parts of it elsewhere without permission isn't.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute that can't be resolved directly will go to the competent Dutch courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your own country of residence.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves; the date at the top reflects the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the update.
